Just some bitterness from riding to work this morning:
In San Francisco exists a mammal more dangerous than bicyclists and motorcyclists combined: pedestrians.
They saunter through crosswalks as though they’re the only ones in the world attempting to get somewhere. They leap into traffic like they’re playing Frogger. They cross with impunity, mid-block, cursing and making obscene gestures at the oncoming traffic.

I’ve been gainfully employed for over 20 years. I never used a recruiter to get a job, but I have used them to fill positions.
The reasons I hate recruiters?
How about: they’re lying, cheating, two-faced, clueless, scum.
They have no ethics, morals or even common sense.
They are the sort of intermediary the world wide web was supposed to eliminate — and God knows the day will come when the entire recruiting industry will be a sorry, not-missed thing of the past.

I really hate it when my boss chews the crap out of her gum. I’ll be sitting in my cubicle, minding my own business, when all of a sudden all I can hear is what is going on in her mouth. It’s disgusting. Her cubicle is a fair distance away, so I shouldn’t hear it… but I do and it lurks me to no end. Smack, crackle, pop! All day this goes on all I hear is her saliva sloshing around and lips smacking. She sounds like an animal.

My first problem is that I hate sleeping. It is anthema to me. It takes several hours to get to sleep at night and to ensure I sleep at all I must physically and mentally exhaust myself. I always try to fight sleep off. I usually get up when I feel starting to drift of to sleep. At these times I will often play games on the P.C. or read books. More often than not I find myself at the P.C. writting stories. I belive my hate, (fear?), of sleep started at a very young age and I mainly blame the dreams I get.

Ladies and Gentleman, you seem like nice people. As you are on this website I know that you too have a healthy amount of hate pumping through your veins. This is a good thing, trust this feeling. Nonetheless, I’m afraid I cannot bring myself to describe the complete and utter revulsion I have for ironing. Words are really not enough. Picture the most offensive piece of graffiti you have ever looked at, or the most upsetting film scene you have ever watched. This is how I feel about ironing; it is not natural and should have no part in our daily lives. Really, I mean it. Enough said.

Two days later I remember what I have done. Damn. Like opening some deep space airlock I gingerly release the door latch and do my best to catch the overspill of socks, towels, and things that I do not remember putting in there in the first place. Naturally I do not own anything as sophisticated as a laundry basket and so, after about ten trips, I have successfully transported the entire load to the kitchen where it is time to face my ultimate nemesis: the clothes hanger. This is a white, plastic, device from the Devil himself. The basic idea is that the hanger is unfolded to form a three tier, free standing frame, upon which the damp items can be placed until such time that they are completely fresh and dry. Sounds simple enough, I know, but sadly it appears that I have some kind of genetic inability to correctly use this piece of equipment.

It starts with the big decision: do I have anything that can possibly be worn again? Sheer resourcefulness can result in this decision being delayed for weeks, if not months, but ultimately I inevitably find myself dressed in inside-out pyjama bottoms and a black leather jacket before having to admit defeat. No, there is nothing left to wear. Ok, it’s time to do the laundry.

What is it with them? They walk around like little tin gods. I know a number of doctors and believe me, it doesn’t take much intelligence to become one.
I mean – what is their deal? They are nothing more than the glorified mechanics. Try to name a medical doctor who has become a leader, or a CEO of a successful corporation. This world is run by intelligent people most of the time, far more intelligent than any doctor – yet, do you see these people acting like tin gods?..
No.
Doctors are just human mechanics and as much as I appreciate them , I will not put up with the elitists attitude, they are so used to no one questioning them that when you do, they fall apart.
Yes, some might be good in their professional skills, but most are as thick as 2 short planks.
