Many, many dropped calls since new - this is the worst phone I’ve ever owned. My 1989 car-mounted Motorola was waaaaaaay better than this, so where’s the progress in 14 years? I don’t care about texts, colour screens, cameras - dear marketing people, this is a phone, get it?

I hate the telephone. The damn thing rings and all I think is: “Who are you and what do you want?!” What you want is for me to answer. Well, forget it. If I wanted to talk to you, I’d be making the call - so knock it off.

I hate my Nokia 6260. These are the 10 reasons why:
1. It’s a brick!
2. Open it up and its even bigger. Talking into it that way looks like you’re holding up a mousetrap next to your ear.
3. You need to open and twist it and look ridiculous to use the camera.

The SMS memory reaches about a max of 40 short text messages. When the memory exceeds this, it breaks up old txts and moulds them together. So if like me, you wanted to keep some of the txts sent from your loved ones, you have to be very picky about which ones stay, and also keep in check how much space is left. If you don’t, the phone will decide for you.

Can’t use it with more than one PC. 40Gb of portable storage in my pocket, and I can’t use it for moving files.
It has no radio.
Yesterday Windows was recognising it as a drive, not an iPod. iTunes then complained another user was using it. I had to reboot to fix it. Maybe it works better with Macs, but I shouldn’t have to buy one to find out.

I rang SE immediately when the BT connection to my BT headsets wouldn’t hold. In fact, the connection will drop and then reconnect several times within a two or three minute period. So, SE told me that it was probably a battery issue: they sent me a battery and that didn’t fix the problem. SE then told me to update my firmware: I dropped $60 on a DSS 25 and that didn’t work. SE told me my only other option at that point was to send it in: Send it in? Hell no. That’s two weeks out of my billing period, min, and the cost of having it shipped to SE as there is only one service center in the entire US.
