There is the cliche love-hate relationship with Emeril and me. (Mostly hate.) He creates such orgasmicly scrumptious food. Oh so scrumptious. However, this chef makes his recipes with ingredients so ridiculously expensive or obscure the layman is just befuddled with what to do. Veal reductor? Shittake mushrooms? Adouille sausage? By the time I get to celery, 1 cup of my hate tears has been added to the recipe.

I hate Nescafe anyway, which doesn’t help but this is just pure slime. It doesn’t taste like coffee, it’s far too sweet and the froth isn’t even frothy. Waking from a gentle slumber this morning or rather yanked awake in the small hours by an annoying alarm, I decided to make myself a nice cup of tea.

This is how bad it is: it’s taken me 3 weeks to disconnect my service. When I cancelled, the gal in the billing department kindly informed me that I’d have to call customer service repeatedly to disconnect my service or else I’d keep getting bills (yes, that happened. Thanks for the heads-up.) I then received collections calls almost every day for several weeks. And every time, I’d repeat my story about why I didn’t owe anything and requested that they stop calling me. And then the phone would ring the next day: “Hi, this is Comcast. I’m calling to see if you can make a payment today.” Someone finally figured out that no one ever officially submitted a disconnect order. The funny thing is, I thought they’d disconnected my service because my service wasn’t working. Just a bunch of static. (I’d always had problems with the digital music channels.)

Let it be said here and now, I hate Cadbury’s chocolate. Call me unpatriotic if you like, but it’s vile and this is a great shame for me, as Cadbury’s seem to have a monopoly on those machines that you will find on more or less every platform of the London Underground.

What happened was, after I got my new Canon S500 digital camera home last night, I noticed that there were a couple of small anomalies appearing on every picture. The blemishes are especially pronounced with darker images, but if you look closely, they’re always there. Grumble; I just bought the thing, and I was so delighted that FedEx’s swift-footedness had brought it to me early. I was ready to play, not call Canon customer service.

Well, it would have to stem from last May when I bought my fourth Dell desktop computer from them. Yes, my fourth, and I will say that the first three were fine, so apparently, Dell has gone way downhill in product quality and customer service.

Back in May of ’05 I ordered a Dell computer. I even added an extra two years of tech support for it as I am not that computer savvy to begin with. Well what does Dell do? They send me double my order. I got two computers, two monitors, two sets of software, and two surge protectors. Now even though I am on my computer 24/7 or so my hubby says, I really did not need two computers. Of course I do live in a two story house and having one on each floor would be pretty convenient, hubby said no. So, it got sent back. Dell emails me a week later saying they received it and would credit my account. I think everything is fine and dandy and get on with my life. I get my credit card statement and Dell had not credited my account. GRRR was the first thing that came to mind; suicide was the second thing after I called customer service and spent the next 4 hours on the phone with Hajib and Frankestro, both whom did not speak a word of English. My third thought was actually sympathy for those who go postal and blow up big companies like this.

I’m a bit confused. Earlier on my cat was eating almost everything - bread, meat, fish, sour-cream, whatever. Now he wants Whiskas only. Should I say “I hate Whiskas!” or what?

Whiskas affection is something people have been talking about for quite a long time already. Well, of course, this is true not only for this brand, but for such as CatMix, Kitekat, Royal Canine etc.

Do cats really get affected and used to all this cat food? I don’t know, but it seems to me that this stuff really has something cats want all the time.

What happens if my cat suddenly doesn’t have any Whiskas? Well, maybe we travel to some place where there is no Whiskas or something… I don’t want to start an experiment and stop feeding my cat to see whether he eats another food soon or not.

I didn’t want to say that I hate Whiskas… But after I’ve analyzed all pros and cons, I think I do hate it after all. My can is a drug addicted animal now, isn’t he?
