I Hate Everything EMO!
Fashion November 8th, 2007Emo kids, Emo music, Emo clothes, Emo additudes. They are highly emotional people who cry and bitch about problems in everyday life, sometimes to the point of claiming they are going to kill them selfs. If these people were really going to kill themselfs they would have done it on the first attempt or claim without crying and anouncing it to the whole world for sympathy. They are nothing but attention craving suicidal individuals.
Emo music has strong lyrical content that is very expressive and intersting. I give credit to the writing and compsing of their type of music. Music is supposed to be a way to express yourself and i understand that. But i dont want to hear about these guys with long black hair to the side of their face covering one of their eyes, wearing tight girl pants and whining about EVERY DAY probelems THAT EVERYONE has. Everyday people seem to put up with everyday personal problems without wanting to kill themselfs and tell everyone that they just might bleed to death.
I’m not a perfect person and I have quite a few personal problems myself and I’m sure there’s going to be more to come. When I get angry or upset about something I know I cannot control, I don’t want to kill myself - I want to destroy and mosh. To me destroying and beating on others is wrong, so is attempted suicide. Destroying and beating is a way better release than self mutalition. Depends on the person you are.
Emo attire. Guys wearing tight girl pants a size too small, and wearing more make-up than their girlfriend. Their hair flipped to one side covering half of their face. When you see these things walking down the street with the opposite sex it’s often hard to tell them apart. Which one is the female, which one is the male?
These kids are so depressing to talk to. They bitch and moan about how fucked up their life is at home. Sometimes I think these kids are better off than me, they have cell phones; constantly txting. They get new tight clothes every week and complain that they don’t have enough. They can call their parents to stay out two hours later without an agrument. They complain about being fat when they can fit into a size zero. They are so ungreatful for what they have and they just want more. More attention, sympathy, attention, and attention. If they were to all kill themselfs like they claim they want to, they won’t have any more life to deal with.
If people are so sad and emo to not deal with the everyday challenge of life then they are not strong enough to enjoy the priceless joys of life.

I completely agree with some of the things you say, BUT..
If everyone has these problems, then wouldn’t we all be the same? I’m not “emo”, or anything, but if everyone has these everyday problems, then there are bound to be a few people who are going to complain about it. And what does it matter if a guy wears girl pants? Girls wear men’s clothes all the time, and don’t get judged even half as much as the men do. And I noticed that you are only basing on the emo men, because you always complain about the guys looking like girls and the guys with the long hair and the make-up. Well, there are more girls out there that are emo than boys, trust me. i’ve studied this shit. maybe you should do.

Ok, I agree with you. Emos are annoying. But they are just part of life. And if you hate emos have you ever seen a chav? let me tell you, chavs are way way worse than emos. But the good thing about chavs and emos is that they have chav and emo wars - very very very funny, they keep me amused.
p.s. Chav and emo wars are where chavs and emos have a massive go at each other (usually across a street or a park). So funny.

I agree with you in some ways I hate to steriotype people though even though they want to be steriotyped. I agree that some “emos” can be very whiny needy over dramatic ect. I have some emo friends who are so selfish that they are constantly in there rooms moping about how much there life stinks they never answer my phone calls and always the same excuse from all of them(I really only have three needy emo friends but you get the picture)and they always bring up the same sob story about how there parents were yelling at them at the dinner table and they went to sleep crying another thing i come across is that there all mistakes in the world but whatever.
I do hower like the “emo” style I think its kind of cute
and some emos can be very fun to talk to and the only reason there called emo is because of how they dress and no other reason
but you did have some good points thus ends my long and painful rant

My experience: people that scream the loudest when 15, become the most boring when 25. Emo is just another trend, they all look the same and in 10 years there will be no more emo kids.

Eru, I think the writer knows the “pain people go through” because they’re…you know.. A PERSON.
And why hate people who hate Emos? It’s just their opinion, and hating them for it makes you just as bad as them.

a emo is not a lifestyle or how someone dresses. its a music form and by calling someone emo you are hurting the music industry that is emo(which by the way started in the 80’s) people who dress like that are just hardcore… and also conformists who have nothing better to do and more than likely have a chemical imbalance. let them be silly little teenagers? I’m sure you’ve never acted out

I agree with you.. and emo has over the twenty eight years become much more than just a type of music.. though I also think that men shouldn’t step out of their role identities by wearing tigh pants and what not.. basically having emo clothes and personalities are just stupid in context, you can do it if you really want, i belive in invidiual taste and prefrences.. and the hair style isn’t neccesarily emo, it can also be considred goth or punk(both of which I like, not so much on the punk though..)
and by the way.. if anyone dosen’t understand the pain people go through are emo kids ;)

Thats so FUCKING alternative man. You are OBVIOUSLY not conforming… at all! OBVIOUSLY! so I go to hot topic. They know me. THey don’t conform… at ALL to cooperate standards!
I hear you dude…

Emo kid are meant to be laughed at. It’s one of the only reasons that I would justify bullying ’cause they need to toughen.

How can you say you hate emo’s? they are just like everyone else. everyone has different beliefs and personalities so why is it that emo’s are singled out and called suicidal idiots?? i dont understand it, even all the different emo’s arent exactly the same, they are all indiciduals in their own way, just like everyone else.
In my opinion ur an idiot. Who are you to single these people out for what they believe in and how they act and what cloths they wear etc

everything you said is true. but, florizzle is right, we just have to let them be, for now. they’re like crap stain in your underwear or pedophiles, you hate them, but you can’t always do something about it. besides, you can just wait until National Emo Kid Beatdown Day.

I don’t see what you have against us!! We don’t choose to be emo, it’s who we are and we don’t care what you or anyone thinks. Not all of us are suicidal. We are just unique.
