<description>i would like to start by saying that i know what im talking about. i have gone to school for cosmetology and i too have very long thick frizzy poofy curly hair. BUT nobody would guess it! To everyone else, i have beautiful super long straight silky hair. guess what i use SUAVE!

first off, shampoo is not going to make your hair silky. thats the conditioner&#039;s job. if you had silky hair after shampoo alone, you can rest assure that your shampoo didnt do a very good job at cleaning you hair.

second, while in cosmetology, we tested the ph balance of a buch of shampoos. of course everything from the salon won hands down. we tested every brand we could get our hands on at the local walmart at the time. failure after failure we finaly found one that was balanced. low and behold it was suave. basically, im saying that to get rid of the skin problem, go back to suave. use their shampoo AND conditioner. plus its super cheap. the only other shampoo i would recommend is paul mitchell, matrix etc... if its not suave, dont buy your shampoo from walmart.

third, for the love of god woman, get yourself to the dermatologist. chances are they could have you fixed up in no time. atleast see the family doctor.

four. back to what i was saying about the shampoo not being responsible for silky hair - only clean hair... theres much more to achieving silky hair than just 2 bottles! first, get some anti-frizz seirum. dont bother with anything else but biosilk. its amazing. bottle is $12 but lasts forever. you only need a little bit. (i get mine anywhere - just about any salon) if all else fails get john frieda antifrizz. not as good, but close. (do not get creams. only seirum) next,(one thing you can get from good ol walmart) meet your new best friend, the hair straightener. i used to go through 1 or 2 straighteners a year. they just loose their power and dont get as hot after so many uses. however the last one i bought was about $40 i think its revlon brand. i have had it for over a year.

heres my morning hair routine:
1 shampoo
2 condition (and leave in during the rest of the shower. also do not put it on your scalp. it will make your hair flat at the top. just the ends!)
3 blow dry in sections to ensure you are getting hair completely dry. i usually use one clip and pull it all up, leaving bottom row of hair down. and work my way up to the top of my head. then if your dryer has one, go over with a cool shot. (my hair drier has a clip on device that has a comb thingy). got it at target. its purple. i highly recomend it. it helps get rid of frizz also.
4 put some antifrizz in your hair. seriously i know it might be tempting, but dont go near your roots with that stuff. your hair will look gross... once you put it on, your hair&#039;s ends will feal greasy at first, but that goes away.
5 strighten the hair. i start at the top and work my way down. pretty much do whatever is easiest. make sure to do small sections at a time. you will have super silky, straight hair.

there you have it. if you try this, let me know how it worked. i would love to know.
