I hate flies. Especially when I’m taking a nap and they fly right above my ear. I hate them, but I’m also afraid of them, I imagine that they are going to give me some kind of revenge, so I rarely kill them.

Hehe, flies are just plain evil, and mean, and hiding, darn their hiding. Yeah, see… you search quietly for them - following the noise and hoping to be able to swat it back out of the window or room… you see it, then they do that FLYING INTO YOUR FACE trick, making you flap your arms around and step back. By the time you’ve recovered, the bastard has flown away again, nesting in some corner, buzz buzz buzzing away… I’m talking about those big black flies, rather than the little ones you can just slap between your hands to get rid of… I’m not scared of killing those buggers!

And how about horseflies? Now THOSE are nasty. And to get bitten by one too hurts like a bitch. I actually don’t know if they’re actual flies or not… I just know they’re huge and when I went swimming as a little kid, the minute we’d see one we’d all scream and dive into the water.

I hate flies with a freakin’ passion. When I go off and get to run my own home, I’ll be sure to keep those ‘fly away’ light bulbs all over the house.
