I Hate This! Blog

Most would agree that they have forgotten a large majority of what they learned in school. Even more would probably agree that the most valuable lessons learned in life weren’t learned in school at all! I hate school’s routines, for it eliminates the spontaneity of life. I hate school’s dress codes because it subdues the expression of self. I hate school because it says that “I can” or “I can’t” based on test scores.

Yes, I hate everything. That isn’t to say that I don’t like some things, but I also hate them at the same time. I hate everything because everything and everyone on Earth deserves to be hated. I hate you and I hate everything that surrounds me. Including myself. I hate myself too.

Is there really any good in me? Have I done anything good in life? Have I? I’m always in the wrong… my family is always right. My mother especially. Everything I do is wrong! Why doesn’t anyone understand what I feel, how I think, what makes me smile, sad, laugh, hate? I finally realized last week. I have no one. I am alone. No one can understand anything about me. I cannot reveal to them my deepest, darkest secrets. They will abandon me. Run away from me like I am a psycho axe murderer.

There was a time in my life not so long ago that I was a pretty terrible person. There was no regard in my life for myself or others. I didn’t think about my family before I did things and at one point in my life, I swore my parents would divorce over the hell I put them through. From the time I was five years old, I have stolen things. Anything. Not just from stores, and not just big items that people might think mattered, little things: like those trial size lipsticks that Avon used to put out in the 1970’s? I used to steal parts of things, too.

I hate money. My checking account bounced this week, which came as a total shock to me. There should have been at least a grand left in the account. I called the bank and transferred some money from savings (which we needed to pay our grad school tuition), but still had no idea how my mental tabulation of our balance had gotten so far off.

Why we hate Oprah: You know, what bothers us the most is the poorly written e-mails we get from people calling us racist and haters. First off, we do not hate Oprah because she is a “rich black woman.” There are plenty of rich african american women that we love. Tyra Banks, Halle Berry and Beyonce, Jada Smith, to name a few, are just some of the African American women we love. So you people without a brain and a constructive argument, give up the race card already and read why we hate/dislike Oprah and respond with an educated opinion.

I know this is crazy, but at the moment I hate politics. How does one person, one person know how to rule a country? I know people will say it’s not one person, it’s a whole community of people, when in the end it’s up to just one person, ever sat down to a democratic meeting, or what we call democratic. They all are just a huge bunch of guys who want to keep power in their hands for as long as possible, because power helps them earn money. Which they need again to hold power right along.
