Money is evil. Money is what makes people kill each other. Money is what makes wives leave their husbands and vice versa. Money is what ruins our life and eats it like mad, because every damn day we have to wake up and go earn money. Money, money, money… Should be funny. If not so damn sad.

Do you believe money is something good? Something that makes us free, giving us certain privileges, opening new horizons?

If you do, you are right in certain sense. But I want you to look at this problem from another angle. And explain to you, why I hate money. Because I do hate it with the smallest fibres of my soul.

We are slaves. Money slaves. Money is what our real master looks like. If you doubt it, just think… Every day you open your eyes and get up to go earn money. To pay for your living. Food, clothes, child’s education, loans, car… whatever you need money for. And even if you don’t want to start your day like this - you should. Because you are a slave. And money is the master. You may be willing to get up late, go sip a cup of hot coffee without hurrying like mad, read your favourite newspaper… maybe, play with your dog. Who cares? Money doesn’t. If you want it - you go get it. Or forget about everything we call “small human joys”.

Money rules the world. Why do people start killing one another? Thousands of years ago the reasons could be simple - they plainly didn’t like each other. But these days almost every war happens because of money. You think Bush started the Iraq war campaign to help the poor Iraqi people? Leave it… Oil. And oil means money.

Just stop for a minute and think. I don’t try to say we should burn money and go back live in caves. I am just trying to say that there are reasons to hate money. I do hate it.
