The huge pharmaceutical brand Merck has removed Vioxx off the market shelves as soon as they knew about the possible heart and stomach problems their drug could cause.

Aspirin is much better than both Vioxx and Celebrex. But who the heck would buy aspirine for such loads of money? No one, true! That’s why they marketed this moneysucker until people started suffering from it. And they knew it was dangerous!

The Lancet, a highly regarded British medical journal, examined 25,273 patients in 18 clinical trials done before 2001. They discovered that those given Vioxx had 2.3 times the risk of heart attacks as those given placebos or other pain drugs.

But Vioxx was still on the market! They didn’t remove it! Of course, because it continued draining money from painfuriated people and Merck was becoming rich! And they even paid money to people for those to publish stupid rants after the harmful product was finally removed from the market. Have a look at this one!

“I had been taking Vioxx for quite sometime until they removed if from the market. I took the pill only when needed. I think that is the key statement. I never followed the instructions on the label. Moderation is another key word. I would like to know the dosage that the people where taking when they ran into trouble. I truly wish they would release Vioxx for people that only take it when it is really needed. My whole quality of life has deterioated since I was no longer able to get it. I would gladly sign a release form that no one is responsible for anything that happens to me because of taking Vioxx. I hope things are done to re-release it back on the Market.”

You are stupid, Harry. Thousands of people are suffering from the Vioxx harmful effects and you are waiting for this drug to return. Did they pay enough?

Lucky enough, Merck should definitely lose some money from what they’ve earned on other people sufferings. Collective suits are being started, and there are enough of Vioxx lawyers to help people get money for the harm Merck has done to them.
