I don’t understand why I should equip my beloved pet with that ugly piece of plastic! What’s next? Should they oblige us to implant microchips to our heads so that it would be easier to identify every single person? And it really drives me furious when they try to include this into the legislation!

I’m not one of those who thinks animals should have equal rights with people and other crap like that. They are animals after all and should never be treated like humans. But that is not to mean that they have no rights at all. They are the God’s creatures too and shouldn’t be treated like slaves, who carried special signs on their bodies to identify their owner.

Pet ID tags are ugly and that is obvious. With an ordinary pet ID tag the pet looks miserable and personally I go mad instantly when I see a tagged pet.

Yes, I know, it would be easier to identify the owner in case a pet with an ID tag gets lost. But that’s the problem of their owners. I always keep an eye on my dog and I doubt it will get lost though it doesn’t carry any tag at all.
