I’m sorry, but you ARE entitled to your opinion, i understand that. But you cannot expect me to accept that band i have seen twice now “sucks”. In MY opinion, they are brilliant and just as good as the ramones or the sex pistols. The Sex Pistols were created by a record label as a rebellion, thankyou. Sid Vicious couldn’t play bass for shit. I am a huge fan of the ramones, the beatles and Ac/DC, but i also love Fall Out Boy. They are original, they don’t have a category, and the TV show you saw them on must have been a while ago since they don’t class themselves as punk. They class themselves as “alternative” which is about right. If you heard their new album, folie a deux (shared madness of two) i’m sure your opinion would change. Patrick (frontman) is extremely talented, i would love to see you try to do what they do =] xxx

Rage! I hate it when people say that FOB and Avril Lavigne is punk. Some of their songs get caught in my head, but that is a personal thing. It does not mean that they are punk. Hell, Sid Vicious is my god. I wish he hadn’t OD’d, then maybe he could be out there starting riots against all these suddenly-shitty “punk” bands.

I love them. No matter how much they get trash-talked or looked down on- it changes NOTHING for me.
They helped me through a lot. Their music is more than words being sung. And people don’t get that or understand that- but I really don’t care. It’s real and awesome for me- who cares what it is for you?

get I love them, they changed life a lot for

thank God somebody i can finally agree with!!! FOB is just another ex. of the lame crap the industry is pumping out to appeal to teens…i guess they figure if they cant find anybody with musical talent theyll fluff em up to make them look good…lower the bar so to speak

Fall Out Boy is just another level of lameness in the “punk rock” genre. In my mind they are the Motley Crew of this millennium and Motley Crew SUUUUUCKED!

Other awful popular “Punk Rock” bands of recent years: Blink 182, Sum 41, Weezer (especially their new shit, “Beverly Hills”… yuck!), Green Day (pretentious arena rockers now), Rancid (Clash rip-offs)… pretty much anyone who calls themselves punk now-a-days is phony fuck.

Ahahaha. Fall Out Boy sucks. Thanks for trying, but I find their music bland. And if you think these guys got talent- psssht. I bet all you’ve ever listened to is Fall Out Boy- that’s not enough to know what’s good and what’s terrible.

And MCR doesn’t suck. I don’t think they rock either, but at least I can tell the difference between all their songs. for Fob, its all the same.

Hey, you were close with Avril Lavigne. Ashlee Simpson is equally horrible. I used to ADORE this band, but now, within a year, I’ve grown up and grown out of them. Fall Out Boy is Horrible.

I pretty much fully, 100% agree with you on this. I think if they really wanted to they could better themselves and the music that they make but it’s really all up to them. Oh, and to all of the fans who are getting upset and all whiny about this blog: It’s a hate blog for Christ’s sake. You’re allowed to come here and post whatever you feel so don’t whine and moan over someone elses opinion. You could do the cool, chill thing and read through it and think what you want in your own head and move along, or just choose to not read it at all just judging from the title if you don’t want to read about someone bashing your favorite band. If you whine and bitch about this, people will just write you off as an ignorant little kid with nothing better to do than try to “own” people who bash your favorite band. But yeah, I think Fall Out Boy does quite suck, but they could do better if they tried. They should take lessons.

With all due respect Fall Out Boy DOES NOT SUCK ok?….. My Chemical Romance SUCKS (really really bad)….Soulja Boy SUCKS(to no end)….Prostitutes on the corner SUCK (and swallow)….but Fall Out Boy does not suck, blow, swallow, deepthroat, or anything else u could possibly think of….that is all
