We hate ice, bad parents and… stuck food!
Yet Uncategorized January 6th, 2006This is the mix of three short “I hate this!” rants. Regrettably, they all were too short to publish them as separate copies, so I’ve decided to make a sort of “Daily Hates Digest”. Hope you enjoy ;) First to rant is Steve Reichard with his hatred attitude towards ice:
I hate ice, especially the ice storms that make ice form on powerlines to make them break and then there’s no darn power that really makes me mad. Same is when it covers the ground and makes it dangerous to even walk for fear of falling down and cracking your skull.
I recently went down my driveway and nearly caved my skull in, so yeah ice went high up on my hate list, besides ice which should only be in a glass. Ice is meant to be in a nice cool glass of lemonade on a nice summer day after a long hard day, not on the roads or streets as a hazard to avoid.
Well, looks like the local authorities of the area Steve lives in should be a bit more attentive. They don’t want to lose one of their dwellers, do they? ;)
Next to come is Julie Motz with what she thanks of bad parents:
I hate to see parents neglecting abusing or humiliating their children. I particularly hate to see a mother dragging a child along behind her on the street in a mall, walking too fast for those tiny legs to comfortably follow. And I hate to hear a parent tell a child to “sit still” or “not run around” when the child isn’t bothering anyone with his or her movement or enthusiasm.
The only thing I don’t like about this rant is that it is darn short. The problem is too serious to be uncovered in such a tiny piece of text. Hope Julia considers this and soon comes up with a huge hatred rant to make all those bad parents feel disgusting.
And the last hater in today’s digest is an Anonymous. Well, when you read the rant, you’ll probably understand why the guy didn’t want to reveal himself:
I hate it when little bits of food get stuck between my teeth and I pick at it with my tongue incessantly until the tip of my tongue gets sore and the food is still there and there’s no toothpick around, so I fold up a match book or pick up a twig or a piece or straw or something and pick it out with that.
I wish food just wouldn’t get stuck there anymore.
Well, that’s definitely what I hate too! Just don’t have any spare time to visit a dentist :ponder:…
Yours as always,
Kevin
