I really hate it when my boss chews the crap out of her gum. I’ll be sitting in my cubicle, minding my own business, when all of a sudden all I can hear is what is going on in her mouth. It’s disgusting. Her cubicle is a fair distance away, so I shouldn’t hear it… but I do and it lurks me to no end. Smack, crackle, pop! All day this goes on all I hear is her saliva sloshing around and lips smacking. She sounds like an animal.

Today, I realized that her obnoxious, invasive mouth noises are not limited to gum chewing… she smacks when she eats too. While we were in a meeting (in a freaking meeting, with people from another organization!), she decided that she needed to eat a sandwich, because her “blood sugar (was) getting low”. So she pulled out a strong smelling egg sandwich, and never minding that its rude to eat in front of others, started chewing down while making nasty little noises chewing. Then, like the inconsiderate woman that she is, she proceeds to talk while she chews and keeps her mouth open too! I know some people make a clicking noise when they eat… its just how their jaws work. But she could at least close her mouth!

But the worst thing about it, the thing I hate the most about the whole disgusting, irritating, foul thing, is that she has the nerve to be a little snooty. She is very snooty and always has an uppity comment about what people are wearing or whether or not they are educated. She has the audacity to turn her nose up at others, yet she doesn’t even have common manners. I guess that’s what pushes me to the point of going postal - her nerve to judge others about tact and she is grossly tacky herself… chewing gum with her mouth open like a common hood-rat-whore on the street.
