Amox is usually sold in capsules. The active generic is Amoxicillin. This medicine is usually used to treat infections which have been caused be a certain type of bacteria. Amoxil is based on Penicillin. Again, it fights bacteria… or at least it should…

Amoxicot, Amoxil, Amoxil Pediatric Drops, Biomox, Dispermox, Trimox, Wymox, Amox – enough to understand the business measures, right? Amox ads appear everywhere, though they don’t say anything or too little about the side effects of Amox (well, this is true for Amoxil side effects too).

The Amoxil dose which is safe for health is something never known. Among the known Amoxil reactions are:

- an allergic reaction (shortness of breath; closing of the throat; hives; swelling of the lips, face, or tongue; rash; or fainting);
- seizures;
- unusual bleeding or bruising;

Though every package is to contain the dosing guidelines for Amoxil, we all know that people rarely read such “stupid things”. And when people use Amoxil without prescripting and skip reading the dosing guidelines, they risk their health. And if it is the mother-to-come or an already feeding woman, than it is twice as dangerous.

Amoxil and breastfeeding is something to avoid. Amoxil passes into breast milk. Though serious problems have not been reported, Amoxil and breastfeeding may cause a yeast infection, diarrhea, or an allergic reaction in a nursing infant. However, no serious harm is expected, but do you want to risk your baby?

When I hit the drugstore asking for something to help me with the infection, the doctor said I couldn’t find anything better than Ampicillin Amoxil antibiotics. Or Amox CP and Amox WCP for that matter. Whatever the Amox IDS are, it is obvious something is wrong with these too. Or at least something can go wrong.

Amox unwanted effects include:

• diarrhea
• allergy (e.g. hives, itching, rash, difficulty breathing)
• nausea
• gas
• stomach upset
• vomiting
• appetite loss
• inflammation of the tongue
• bloody diarrhea
• pseudomembranous colitis (inflammation of the colon caused by the overgrowth and toxin production of certain bacteria, causing diarrhea)
• sore mouth and tongue
• black hairy tongue

Amox anthrax is coming. It should soon hit your door. Fight it if you want to stay safe. Amox and Amoxil side effects can prove to be more dangerous than the manufacturers say! I hate when they try to cheat me to sell their generics. They make money on our health!
