Ok, people, please don’t tell me I can use all these banner cutting programs to eliminate those annoying banners. I know that. But I don’t want to cut everything. I understand that some sites need banner advertising to keep on existing. But why the hell would people put loads of that stuff on the page?! From time to time I come across the sites, which have been created to serve banner ads. That’s their only and main goal. They stuff their pages with the automatically generated content and load ‘em up with banners - text blocks from AdSense or these horrible graphics monsters!

The thing is I don’t wanna turn this copy into a research of how to filter ads on certain sites, still leaving space for the good ones which do really need support. I just wanted to express my negative attitude to those guys, who don’t understand the simple thing - when you create something for the visitors, the result is always better. But no - they continue generating fake content pages, drive traffic from the searchengines and earn those few cents from banner advertising.

Personally I never click on a banner or AdSense ad on a site which I see as one obviously created to serve ads, but not the users. Furthermore, I try to add these URLs to the special searchengines, who crawl through the webblogs created for advertising only and add them to their SERPs as the potential sites to spam in comments.

Well, at the end of the writing process I’ve decided that I do not hate banners as they are. I hate those, who use banners like mad. Too much is never good.
